Extension courses in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Modern Greek and Spanish

Background Speakers courses in Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese and Korean

Teachers and academics are invited to contribute directly to the selection of appropriate new course prescriptions for Extension courses in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Modern Greek and Spanish, and  for Background Speakers courses in Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese and Korean in two ways:

1. by submitting an Expression of Interest for inclusion on a register of curriculum writers for tasks associated with the selection of the prescribed texts
2. by submitting Suggestions for prescribed texts for HSC study 2014–2018 to the Office of the Board of Studies for consideration by language-specific writing teams. In some instances, the continuation of the current course prescriptions may be considered appropriate, subject to new extracts and prescribed issues being identified.

The project to select prescribed texts for study in these courses for 2014–2018 will commence in February 2011.
