Online Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) site update
The NSW Board of Studies Online Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) site has been updated in order to allow us to keep improving the service.
As of 1st March 2010 Flash Player 10 is required to do practice tests on the MCQ site. This Flash upgrade has been flagged on the home page of the MCQ site since last July with warning messages, and these have now been updated to show if the correct version of Flash is installed.
Over 75% of people visiting in January and February 2010 had Flash 10 installed and it has been available since October 2008.
Changes included in this release are:
- Upgrade to Flash 10
- Minor compatibility fixes to flash detection routines
- Security fixes to prevent potential XSS
MCQ Quick Stats:
- Total Questions - 5,077 multiple choice questions
- HSC Questions - 3,419 across 31 courses
- SC Questions - 1,658 across ten courses
- Tests done in 2009 - 2.2 million
