Applications to mark the 2010 School Certificate tests and HSC examinations and for HSC Adviser positions are now open.

Marking is a very rewarding professional opportunity for suitably qualified teachers. The benefits include:

• developing marking skills and discussing assessment and marking issues with other teachers
• experiencing the full range of responses from across the course candidature and contrasting different approaches to the examination
• opportunities to apply for positions with greater responsibility such as Senior Marker and Judge in the Standards Setting Operation
• the option to apply for day marking (limited subjects), evening marking, itinerant marking (practical subjects) or onscreen marking (specific subjects).

Marking is held at a number of venues across the Sydney metropolitan area and regional New South Wales (specific courses are marked at particular venues).
