BOS 12/10 The Board of Studies is seeking expressions of interest from people qualified to be included on a register of curriculum writers and reviewers. This register will be used to select writers for a range of curriculum support projects including:

• Analysis of NSW consultation feedback on the Australian curriculum
• Development of support materials for implementation of the Australian curriculum in NSW
• Other tasks associated with the development of support materials

People with experience in curriculum development and support, together with expertise in relation to one or more of the curriculum areas of English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Languages, the Arts and/or cross-curriculum perspectives/general capabilities are invited to submit an expression of interest for inclusion on the register of writers. The Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is managing the development of the Australian curriculum in collaboration with States and Territories. The Board of Studies represents all stakeholders in NSW and is consulting broadly with teachers and others regarding the curriculum and its implementation.
