Take part in the Board's online survey for HSC Mathematics
Teachers are encouraged to take part in the Board’s online consultation on revised HSC mathematics assessment and exam requirements to be implemented with Year 12, 2011. Sample exam questions are included with the survey.
The changes will bring the mathematics courses into line with the Board’s changes to assessment and exam requirements for other HSC courses.
The revised assessment and exam requirements are based on the extensive consultation undertaken by the Board for the new mathematics syllabuses developed during 2006-2008. While these syllabuses were endorsed in 2009, they were not implemented due to the announcement of the development of the Australian mathematics curriculum.
