Great line-up for ACACA conference

Places are filling fast for the Australasian Curriculum, Assessment and Certification Authorities (ACACA) 2010 Conference in Sydney on 27 September.

Register now to hear a stimulating line-up of presenters, including:

Peter Hill, CEO Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA), discussing the latest developments with the Australian curriculum.

Mark McCrindle, social researcher with an international reputation for tracking emerging trends and analysing diverse generations, on how to engage with today’s students.

Gavin Cooney, CEO, Learnosity, talking about using mobile phones to accelerate learning a language.

Miriam Tanti, a lecturer in education in the area of ICT, speaking about technological acceleration and its long-term impact.

Jane West, Chief Learning Design Officer from the Centre For Learning Innovation, NSW Department of Education and Training, exploring how game-based learning works.

These are just some of the guest speakers who will be exploring the curriculum, assessment and reporting, and the influence of technology on teaching and learning.

The conference is being held at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on 27 September and is open to all educators.
