Upcoming changes to HSC Profile of Student Achievement

Teachers will no longer be required to print out and complete Profile of Student Achievement forms to create the HSC credential for students undertaking Life Skills courses.

In Term 3, the Profile of Student Achievement will move to Schools Online for 2011 HSC candidates taking one or more Life Skills courses. This mirrors the process in place for the School Certificate credential.

Teachers may continue to use the current Profiles of Student Achievement available on the Board’s website as a means of collecting data for each Stage 6 Life Skills course.

The provision of an electronically generated Profile of Student Achievement credential for HSC students undertaking Life Skills courses will be of benefit to students as they move into their post-secondary school lives, and will also reduce the manual paperwork burden on teachers.

Teachers will be advised through the Board Bulletin when they will be required to enter Life Skills outcomes data for the HSC Profile of Student Achievement on Schools Online.
