The assessment requirements, including HSC examination specifications, for the amended Stage 6 Agriculture syllabus are in the Assessment and Reporting in Agriculture document on the Board’s website.
The following examination materials are also available at the same location:
- Sample HSC examination questions consisting of examples of the type of question that could appear in Section I (core content) and Section II (Electives)
- Marking guidelines showing the criteria to be applied in awarding marks to each sample question
- Mapping grid showing how each sample question relates to the syllabus, outcomes and content, and to the performance bands.
From 2011, the HSC examination in Agriculture will be a single three-hour paper consisting of two sections: Section I will examine the core content and Section II will examine the Electives.
