Official Notice: New Child Studies Content Endorsed Course Years 7-10 syllabus

The new Child Studies Content Endorsed Course (CEC) Years 7–10 syllabus is now available.

Implementation of the new syllabus will commence in 2013.

The new syllabus includes a range of modules that provide schools with the flexibility to design courses that best meet the needs and interests of their students.

Satisfactory completion of 100 or 200 hours of study in Child Studies CEC Years 7–10 during Stage 5 (Years 9 and/or 10) will be recorded with a grade on the student’s Record of School Achievement.

The new Child Studies CEC Years 7–10 syllabus is available to download from the syllabus section of the Board’s website.

A Child Studies Course Description is also available.
