Three additional modules for the Stage 6 English Studies Content Endorsed Course (CEC) were approved by the Board of Studies on 18 September 2012. The additional modules are available for implementation from the beginning of 2013.
These modules expand the options available to assist schools to meet the needs and interests of their students.
The three additional English Studies CEC modules supplement the existing modules and aim to be culturally relevant, focused studies that will engage students, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, students from regional areas and those with English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D).
Effective: Year 11 and 12 students from 2013.
