Did you know that the Support Materials section of the NSW syllabuses for the Australian curriculum website includes a Parents’ Guide? The Parents' Guide answers key questions about the Australian curriculum and its implementation in New South Wales. The guide provides information about what children will learn and a timeline for when new syllabuses will be taught in schools.

The guide can be downloaded from the NSW syllabuses for the Australian curriculum website. The website also features a short video introducing the new syllabuses for parents.

Print copies of the Parents’ Guide have been mailed to schools along with copies of the syllabuses. Additional print copies can be purchased from the Board’s Shop Online.

Parents can read more about the new NSW syllabuses, as well as download copies of the English, Mathematics, Science and History syllabuses from the NSW syllabuses for the Australian curriculum website. In addition the parents page on the Board’s website contains a range of materials to help parents participate in and support their child’s learning.
