Official Notice: Updated Stage 6 Tourism and Events Curriculum Framework syllabus

The Stage 6 Tourism and Events Curriculum Framework syllabus has been updated to the latest version of the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Package (SIT07v2.3).
Implementation of the updated syllabus will commence in 2012.
Changes to the syllabus include:
- substantial changes to two (2) examinable units of competency – Develop and update tourism industry knowledge and Develop and update event industry knowledge – including amendments to the HSC Requirements and Advice
- changes to other examinable units of competency including Prepare quotation, Process and monitor event registrations and Coordinate on-site registrations
- updating of some other HSC elective units of competency.
Details of the changes are outlined in the Tourism and Events Syllabus Modification History. The updated syllabus is available to download from the HSC syllabus section of the Board’s website.
