It's not too late for schools to order RAP

Schools have been actively using the Results Analysis Package (RAP) to analyse data from the 2011 HSC examinations to enhance their teaching and learning. Many schools have used RAP as a focus of their school development days to set teaching and learning targets for the year.

In particular, using the multiple choice and item analysis graphs teachers are able to:

  • diagnose their students’ strengths and weaknesses question by question against the state mean
  • find explanations for the trends
  • design strategies for explicit teaching to address the issues.

Schools can order RAP via the online order form for $120.

RAP can be accessed through Schools Online (Administration) using a variety of browsers including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.

Students’ HSC statistics for each course - school assessment, moderated assessment and examination marks - can be viewed on one screen and data can be exported to a spreadsheet for further analysis.

Read more about RAP.
