NAPLAN program administration has moved to the Board of Studies from the Department of Education and Communities. This means from January 2013 the Board will be responsible for the administration of the NAPLAN tests in NSW and the ACT.

Please note that the 2013 test dates are still 14–16 May, and the arrangements for the administration of the tests will be similar to last year.

The NAPLAN staff are now located at the Board’s offices. NAPLAN information remains on the DEC website while an updated NAPLAN page is built on the Board’s website. The Board has already directly advised principals by memo of this change.
