The Automotive Curriculum Framework Part A Syllabus (based on AUR05v4) has been amended to allow students to access qualifications and units of competency from the new AUR12 Automotive Industry Retail, Service and Repair Training Package in 2014.

Students completing the Automotive (240 indicative hours) and Automotive School-based Apprenticeship (240 indicative hours) courses in 2014 who achieve AUR12 units of competency would be eligible for an AUR12 qualification. They will also be eligible to sit for the Automotive HSC examination in 2014 and count the results from their examination towards their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

View the Automotive Syllabus Amendment document for further details.

Schools and colleges should consult with their school system and/or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) regarding delivery of courses from the Automotive Curriculum Framework (based on AUR05v4) for their students continuing study in 2014.
