The 2014 NAPLAN student reports are being delivered to NSW schools this week Monday 1 – Friday 5 September. After student results have been checked, the report envelopes can be distributed to parents.

Schools have access to the Participation and Registration (PAR) website during the reporting period to enable a review of student test participation information and disability adjustments. Access is read-only and no changes can be made to data.

In order to meet the timelines for the provision of data to ACARA, Principals or their delegate should notify BOSTES in writing of any issues relating to the 2014 NAPLAN student reports by Friday 10 October.

Issues raised after this date will not be processed in time for updates to the NAPLAN data for the MySchool website.

Details of report issues should be emailed to naplan.nsw@bostes.nsw.edu.au and must include the following information:

• school name
• region and school code
• school phone number
• name of the principal or delegate
• contact phone number during the school holiday period
• name of any affected students and the year level
• exact details of the issue

Where the issue is related to Writing, please complete the Request for Review of NAPLAN Writing Test form which can be downloaded from the PAR website.

BOSTES will advise schools of any subsequent changes to student results.

Schools can access the 2014 NAPLAN SMART data through the NSW DEC portal from Monday 8 September. Any issues with SMART data should be referred to the NSW DEC at smarttrain@det.nsw.edu.au.
