Completion of school malpractice register for 2014 HSC assessment tasks

All schools entering students for the 2014 HSC examinations are required to complete and submit their register of malpractice in HSC assessment tasks by the end of Term 3.

An Official Notice (BOS 28/13) dated 21 June 2013 advised the implementation of a register of malpractice for 2014 HSC assessment tasks. It is mandatory for schools to use the register to record all offences during the HSC assessment program. A reminder about this implementation was provided on 15 November 2013.

Guidelines and explanatory notes are located on Schools Online under Downloads/Memos and Documents. The register is located under Data Collection.

Please ensure the register is finalised with all instances of assessment malpractice for the 2014 HSC cohort. Once all malpractice is recorded, please select the Complete button, even if there is no malpractice to record, to advise BOSTES that the register is finalised for the 2014 cohort.

Once collected, the aggregated data will be analysed and published on the BOSTES website in 2015. Individual schools or students will not be identified.

It is required that all schools finalise the register no later than Friday 19 September.
