Morning

English (Advanced)
Candidature: 26153 (as at 1 September 2015)
Begins: 9:25 am Ends: 11:30 am

Paper 2 – Modules
The paper consist of three sections.
Section I (20 marks) Module A: Comparative Study of Texts and Context
Section II (20 marks) Module B: Critical Study of Texts
Section III (20 marks) Module C: Representation and Text
Students must answer three questions, one from each section. All questions require an extended response and are of equal value.

English (ESL) Paper 2
Candidature: 2425 (as at 1 September 2015)
Begins: 9:25 am Ends: 10:30 am

Paper 2 – Modules
The paper consists of two sections. Students must answer one question from each section.
Section I (20 marks) Module A: Experience Through Language
Section II (20 marks) Module B: Texts and Society
Each question requires an extended response.

English (Standard)
Candidature: 31952 (as at 1 September 2015)

Listening paper
Students listen to a text recorded on CD. The paper consists of a number of questions related to what they hear on the CD. The questions may be a combination of multiple-choice questions and questions requiring both short and more sustained responses.

Afternoon

Music 1
Candidature: 4770 (as at 1 September 2015)
Begins: 1:55 pm Ends: 3:00 pm

Aural Skills
The Aural Skills written paper is worth 30 marks. The paper consists of four questions that relate to
musical excerpts broadly reflecting the range of topics offered for study. Questions are answered on the question paper. All questions are compulsory.

Music 2
Candidature: 695 (as at 1 September 2015)
Begins: 3:25 pm Ends: 5:00 pm

Musicology and Aural Skills
The Musicology and Aural Skills written paper is worth 35 marks.
The paper consists of four questions that require candidates to integrate aural and musicological skills and understanding. Sections of scores are included in the paper. Questions are answered on the question paper. All questions are compulsory.
