Indonesian delegation visits BOSTES

A delegation from Indonesia recently visited BOSTES  as part of its research into the development and implementation of school curriculum, assessment and examinations.

The delegation, led by Professor Ir. Nizam, the Director of the National Education Assessment Centre at the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, met senior BOSTES staff, to discuss curriculum and exam development.

Paul Hewitt, BOSTES Executive Director, Curriculum, Teaching and Assessment said “The Indonesian government is currently undertaking reform of their school curriculum. The delegation was very impressed by our recently developed interactive online syllabuses and materials to support teaching, learning and assessment in years K-10.

"The delegates were also interested in NSW HSC development and processes, including disability provisions for the HSC examinations and assessment marks, used as part of the final results,” said Mr Hewitt.
