Applications to mark 2015 HSC examinations open Wednesday 4 March.

Marking is a very rewarding professional opportunity for suitably qualified teachers. The benefits include

• professional development by learning new marking skills
• experience of the full and contrasting range of examination responses and approaches from across the course candidature 
• opportunities to apply for positions like pilot or senior marker, or judge in the standards-setting operation
• the option to apply for corporate marking (specific subjects), itinerant marking (practical performance subjects) or onscreen marking (specific subjects)

Corporate marking and onscreen marking briefings are held at a number of venues across the Sydney metropolitan area and regional New South Wales (specific courses are marked at particular venues).

To apply go to the Markers Online website. New applicants need to complete a registration form found on the home page. Once registered, applicants can log into Markers Online with their User ID and Password and submit their application.
