NSW Languages Advisory Panel meeting
The NSW Languages Advisory Panel, comprised of representatives from a range of education, business and community sector organisations, met for the second time on Tuesday 26 May.
It endorsed 31 actions from the NSW Languages Education Action Plan, which will be published soon.
The major focus of the panel’s work for this year is the development of a draft NSW Languages Education Policy for wide consultation during 2016.
The panel has also started collecting comprehensive languages education data and promoting the value of language study in education, community, business and industry.
