Principals are reminded that the closing date for changes to HSC student entries is Tuesday 30 June.

Late changes can have a significant impact on HSC eligibility and the planning, production and administration of all practical and written HSC examinations.

Before the end of Term 2 all schools should review their student BOSTES data to ensure the following:

• any late corrections, alterations or withdrawals to course entries, especially extension courses, have been updated on Schools Online
• all VET students who intend to sit the HSC exam, including those studying at TAFE or with an outside provider, have been entered for the optional HSC VET exam
• all students undertaking HSC Mathematics General 1 course (CEC) have been checked to ensure they are not in breach of Board Developed Course unit HSC eligibility requirements
• if delivering an HSC course via a compression model, that both the 2015 Year 11 (Preliminary) and 2015 Year 12 (HSC) entry records have been correctly set up to reflect the exams being taken this year.

Changes can be made directly via Schools Online > Enrolments > Change a Student Enrolment, or Schools Online > Browse > Student Enrolments/Results.

Note that courses with a practical examination component can no longer be changed via Schools Online, as scheduling has commenced. If such a change is required, please contact the Student Records Team.
