Independent schools are reminded that details of all pre-2004 teachers they employ need to be confirmed by Monday 14 November.

All independent schools should have previously received an email, which included an excel spread sheet, requesting the following details for each pre-2004 teacher:

• name
• home address
• gender
• birth date
• mobile number
• email address
• Working With Children Check clearance number
• role at the school.

Completed spread sheets should be emailed to pre2004@bostes.nsw.edu.au with ‘Confirmation of pre-2004 teacher details’ in the subject line. If your school did not receive the email please contact andrew.armstrong@bostes.nsw.edu.au.

Confirmation of personal and employment details of pre-2004 teachers will ensure correct information is held in the lead up to the accreditation of all teachers on 1 January 2018 and is a requirement of the Accreditation of Non-Accredited Teachers Policy.

Please note BOSTES will manage the creation of pre-2004 teacher accreditation accounts in the lead up to 2018, so teachers will not have to do this themselves.
