Implementation of the amended Visual Arts Stage 6 Syllabus in NSW

The amended Visual Arts Stage 6 Syllabus is now available on the BOSTES website and implementation will commence with the Preliminary Course in 2017 and the HSC Course from 2018.
Key features of the amended syllabus include minor amendments to provide teachers with greater clarity and guidance on the content areas of Practice, Conceptual Framework and Frames, and the relationships and connections between these areas of syllabus content. These minor amendments do not alter the HSC course structure or content and have no impact on the design or conduct for the HSC Visual Arts examination.
Consultation on the Visual Arts Stage 6 Draft Syllabus Amendments was held in Term 2, 2016. The Visual Arts Stage Syllabus 6 Draft Amendments Consultation Report is also available on the BOSTES website.
