Section I - Core Appreciation
Begins: 9:25 AM Ends: 10:30 AM
Section I (20 marks)
This section consists of two questions requiring an extended response. Both questions are compulsory, and are of equal value.
Dance Major Study Appreciation
Candidature: 0 (as at 1 September 2016)
Section II - Major Study Appreciation
Begins: 10:40 AM Ends: 12:00 PM
Section II (40 marks)
This paper consists of three questions requiring extended responses. All questions are compulsory.
Economics
Candidature: 5311 (as at 1 September 2016)
Begins: 9:25 AM Ends: 12:30 PM
The paper consists of four sections.
Section I (20 marks) consists of 20 multiple-choice questions answered on a separate machine-scored answer sheet.
Section II (40 marks) consists of short-answer questions, which may contain a number of parts and may be based on stimulus material. The questions are answered in the spaces provided on the paper.
All questions in Sections I and II are compulsory.
Section III (20 marks) consists of two extended response stimulus-based questions of equal value. Students attempt one question.
Section IV (20 marks) consists of two extended response questions of equal value. Students attempt one question.
Questions are to be answered in the Sections III and IV writing booklet.
Retail Services

Begins: 9:25 AM Ends: 11:30 PM
The paper consists of four sections.
Section I (15 marks) consists of 15 multiple-choice questions answered on a separate machine-scored answer sheet.
Section II (35 marks) consists of short response questions answered in the spaces provided on the question paper.
Section III (15 marks) consists of one extended response question answered in a separate writing booklet.
Section IV (15 marks) consists of a structured extended response question for each of the streams. Students are to answer the question on the stream they have studied.
Afternoon
Visual Arts
Candidature: 9094 (as at 1 September 2016)
Art Criticism and Art History
Begins: 1:55 PM Ends: 3:30 PM
The paper consists of two sections.
Section I (25 marks). This section consists of three short-answer questions, with one question worth at least 10 marks. All questions are compulsory.
Section II (25 marks). This section consists of six questions. Each question requires an extended response. Students attempt one question.
A separated coloured plates booklet is provided.
