Morning


Chemistry

Candidature: 10854 (as at 1 September 2016)
Begins: 9:25 AM Ends: 12:30 PM
The paper consists of two sections.
Section I Core (75 marks) consists of two parts: Part A – 20 multiple-choice questions (20 marks), answered on a separate machine-scored answer sheet, and Part B – short response questions (55 marks) answered in the spaces provided on the question paper. All questions in Section I are compulsory.
Section II Options (25 marks) consists of five questions, one for each option. Students answer the question based on the option they have studied. The question is answered in two separate writing booklets.

Afternoon


Drama

Candidature: 4795 (as at 1 September 2016)
Begins: 1:55 PM Ends: 3:30 PM
The paper consists of two sections.
Section I: Australian Drama and Theatre (Core)
In Section I there is one extended response question.
Section II: Studies in Drama and Theatre. In Section II students attempt one question from a choice of seven questions. Each question requires an extended response.

Modern Greek Extension

Candidature: 52 (as at 1 September 2016)
Begins: 2:00 PM Ends: 4:00 PM
The paper consists of two sections.
Section I – Response to prescribed text (25 marks)
This section has two parts. In Part A, students answer a number of short-answer questions based on a short extract from the prescribed text. In Part B, the question relates to another extract from the prescribed text. Students respond in Greek to an extended-response question which is phrased in both English and Greek.
Section II – Writing in Modern Greek (15 marks)
Students have a choice of two extended- response questions related to the prescribed issues and respond in Greek.
