Reminder: Consultation on Draft K-10 Languages Framework is open
The Draft K-10 Languages Framework is currently open for consultation and schools and interested parties are encouraged to take part.
All feedback will be considered in the development of the Languages Framework, which will, in turn, be used to develop the Draft K-10 syllabus for each of the following languages:
- Arabic
- Chinese
- French
- German
- Hebrew
- Hindi
- Indonesian
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Modern Greek
- Russian
- Spanish
- Turkish
- Vietnamese
You can provide feedback via an online survey, written submission or at a face-to-face consultation meeting from 4-6 pm at locations across NSW (see below). Please pre-register and bring an electronic or hard copy of the Draft K-10 Languages Framework, if you are attending a consultation meeting.
Completing Draft Languages K-10 Framework consultation meetings will contribute 2 hours of QTC Registered PD (addressing 6.2.2 and 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers) towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
