Principals of individual non-government schools
Responsible Persons for individual non-government schools
BOSTES published amendments to the Registered and Accredited Individual Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual ('the Manual') in January (see Official Notice 1/16). Section 220.127.116.11 provides that, from Friday 1 July 2016, individual non-government schools must give online notification to BOSTES with details of ‘responsible persons’, including their:
- date of commencing and ceasing as ‘responsible person’.
Notification should be made via RANGS Online > School Details, accessed using the school user ID and password. A step-by-step guide is available RANGS Online > Reference Documents. Notification of any changes to a school's 'responsible person' must be made within 28 days.

Please note that in non-government school registration systems, the approved authority for a registration system is responsible for maintaining details of the 'responsible persons' for each member school (see section 18.104.22.168 of the Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual).
