Sample answers for the 2011 HSC examinations are now available on the Board’s website for most HSC subjects.

Sample answers are not student responses from exams.

Sample answers are developed for some examination questions by the examination committee to ensure the questions will effectively assess students’ knowledge and skills.

They also provide guidance to the Supervisor of Marking about the nature and scope of the responses expected of students.

The Board publishes this information to assist in understanding how the marking guidelines were implemented. Sample answers are not intended to be exemplary or even complete answers or responses.
