New K-10 Mathematics and Science and Technology syllabuses mandatory in 2015
For 2015, the new Mathematics and Science and Technology K-10 syllabuses are mandatory for all NSW schools. Although many syllabus outcomes are similar to those in the previous syllabus, all program references should relate to the new syllabus outcome codes e.g MAe -1WM.
Over the year, primary schools and teachers should also familiarise themselves with the History syllabus, which is optional for implementation in 2015, so they are ready for mandatory implementation in 2016.
The new syllabuses are available to download via the BOSTES website.
