NAPLAN - Information for parents
The 2015 Handbook for Principals was delivered to schools in the last week of February. A copy should be provided to all NAPLAN coordinators.
Documents to support schools in the administration of NAPLAN are available on the PAR website and the BOSTES website. This includes
- a letter for parents
- consent forms for exemption/parent withdrawal and access to disability adjustments
- order forms for special print materials
- applications to use a scribe or computer
Schools should inform parents about the 2015 NAPLAN tests by Friday 24 April.
A link to the exemption form, translated into community languages, is provided on the BOSTES website.
Additional information for parents can be found on the ACARA NAPLAN website. Schools can choose to download the NAPLAN 2015 information for parents brochure for distribution or provide the link in their online communication to parents.
