Supporting students with special education needs
Revised advice is now available to support collaborative curriculum planning between schools, parents and students with special education needs. The revisions include three diagrams to guide decision-making around adjustments and inclusive curriculum options for:
- Early Stage 1 – Stage 3
- Stage 4 – Stage 5
- Stage 6
The advice promotes the flexibility of the NSW syllabuses to support teachers in meeting the individual learning needs of students. It also reflects the Disability Standards for Education 2005, RoSA and HSC requirements.
