The 2015 NAPLAN student reports will be delivered to NSW schools from Tuesday 18 August.

All students receive two reports:

• the mandatory national Student Report and
• the Additional Student Report which is provided by BOSTES to all NSW students.

They will be in a sealed envelope which should be sent to parents after the results have been checked.

The report package will include a hard copy of each Additional Student Report for the school’s records. This can be used for checking student results before it is placed in the student’s file.

Schools can also access an electronic copy of the student reports for 2015, as well as all previous years, through SMART. This will assist in responding to parents who require an additional copy or have misplaced NAPLAN reports.

ACARA has released the NAPLAN 2015 Student reports brochure which can be provided to parents. There is also information about the reporting of NAPLAN results on the ACARA NAPLAN and BOSTES websites.

BOSTES has prepared a presentation ‘NAPLAN 2015 Understanding the Student Reports’ to assist schools communicate to parents about student reporting. This presentation can be downloaded from the PAR website > Documents and Forms. PAR - Phase 3 can be accessed by schools from Tuesday 18 August.
