2015 NAPLAN student reports will be delivered to NSW schools from Tuesday 18 August.

Each parent report envelope contains:

• National Report
• Additional Student Report
• letter from the Minister.

After student results have been checked, the report envelopes can be distributed to parents.

The report pack also contains a copy of each Additional Student Report for school records.

Schools have access to the Participation and Registration (PAR) website until Friday 18 September to review student test participation information and disability adjustments. Access is read only and no changes can be made.

In order to meet the timelines for the provision of data to ACARA, principals or their delegates should notify BOSTES of any issues relating to the 2015 NAPLAN student reports, in writing by Friday 18 September. Report issues should be emailed to naplan.nsw@bostes.nsw.edu.au and include the following:

• school name
• region and school code
• school phone number
• name of the principal or delegate
• name and year level of any affected students
• exact details of the issue.

BOSTES will advise schools of any subsequent changes to student results.

BOSTES has prepared a presentation ‘NAPLAN 2015 Understanding the Student Reports’ to help schools communicate information about student reporting to parents. The presentation can be downloaded via PAR > Documents and Forms.

Schools can access 2015 NAPLAN SMART data via the NSW DEC portal from Monday 17 August. Any issues with SMART data should be referred to NSW DEC at smarttrain@det.nsw.edu.au.
