Morning
Personal Development, Health and Physical Education
Candidature: 15968 (as at 1 September 2016)
Begins: 9:25 AM Ends: 12:30 PM
The paper consists of two sections.
Section I – Core (60 marks) consists of two parts:
Part A – 20 multiple-choice questions (20 marks), answered on a separate machine-scored
answer sheet.
Part B – short-answer questions (40 marks).
All questions in Section I are compulsory.
Section II – Options (40 marks) consists of a short-answer question worth 8 marks which may contain parts and an extended response question worth 12 marks for each option. Students answer questions on each of the two the options they have studied. The questions are answered in separate writing booklets.

Electrotechnology
Candidature: 348 (as at 1 September 2016)
Begins: 1:55 PM Ends: 4:00 PM
The paper consists of four sections.
Section I (15 marks) consists of 15 multiple-choice questions answered on a separate machine-scored answer sheet.
Section II (35 marks) consists of short response questions answered in the spaces provided on the question paper.
Section III (15 marks) consists of one extended response question answered in a separate writing booklet.
Section IV (15 marks) consists of one structured extended response, answered in a separate writing booklet. All questions are compulsory.
Mathematics Extension 1
Candidature: 9014 (as at 1 September 2016)
Begins: 1:55 PM Ends: 4:00 PM
The paper consists of two sections.
Section I (10 marks) consists of multiple-choice questions, answered on a separate machine-scored answer sheet.
Section II (60 marks) consists of four questions each worth 15 marks. Each question is made up of several short-answer parts. These questions are answered in separate writing booklets.
All questions are compulsory.
