VALE Debra Gilmore
Many NSW teachers will be saddened to learn of the recent passing of Debra Gilmore.
Debra joined BOSTES in 2011 as a Senior Curriculum Officer for Creative Arts and acted in the role of Creative Arts Inspector in 2013 and 2014. Prior to joining BOSTES, Debra was a Music teacher at Sydney Boys High School.
Following her roles at BOSTES Debra was the Arts Programs and Partnerships Coordinator at NSW Department of Education’s Arts Unit.
Debra shared her knowledge, wisdom and enthusiasm with countless students and colleagues and leaves a professional legacy and commitment to Creative Arts education, in particular, in music.
We are very sad to have lost a friend and colleague but are grateful for having known her.
