A new national BSB Business Services Training Package was released on 25 March 2015.

The existing Business Services Curriculum Framework Part A Syllabus based on BSB07v9 has been amended to allow students to access qualifications and units of competency from the new BSB Training Package in 2016.

Students completing the Business Services (240 indicative hours) course in 2016 who achieve BSB units of competency would be eligible for a BSB qualification. They will also be eligible to sit for the Business Services HSC examination in 2016 and count the results from their examination towards their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

Schools and colleges should consult with their school system and/or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) regarding delivery of courses from this syllabus for their students continuing study in 2016.
