The deadline for applications for scribe use or use of a computer in the Writing test, which require prior approval from BOSTES and must be submitted via the PAR website, is Friday 29 April. Applications for computer use in the Writing test due to a temporary injury will be accepted up until Tuesday 10 May, prior to the start of the test.

The majority of disability adjustments for the NAPLAN tests can be organised and approved by the principal. Information about disability adjustments can be found in the Handbook for Principals, pages 11-18 and 42-45 and on the ACARA website. ACARA has also provided a number of disability adjustment scenarios.

NAPLAN coordinators should ensure all completed parent/carer consent forms for disability adjustments, exemptions and parent withdrawals are lodged with the school by Monday 2 May.

Parent/carer consent forms can be downloaded from the BOSTES NAPLAN webpage or the PAR website. The completed forms do not need to be forwarded to BOSTES.

Translations of the parent/carer consent form are available in 35 community languages.
