New resources for teaching cross-curricular STEM

Seven cross-curricular STEM units of work that collectively cover Kindergarten to Year 12 have been published by BOSTES. The exemplar STEM units have been developed to show teachers how the pillars of STEM – science, technology, engineering and mathematics - interrelate. Each unit assists teachers of a particular stage of schooling to implement integrated STEM education.

The units of work embed innovative thinking and incorporate the use of 21st Century technology. Enhanced student engagement in STEM is encouraged as they apply their knowledge and understanding of STEM concepts to practical and hands on experiences.
