Save the date: Drama, Music, Textiles and Design and Visual Arts practical marking sessions

BOSTES will once again host practical marking development sessions for teachers of HSC Drama, Music, Textiles and Design and Visual Arts.

Attendees from past years have enthusiastically endorsed the sessions, which provide an opportunity for teachers to learn about marking of submitted works on location at the marking centre.

Completion of these sessions will contribute 4 hours for Drama and Visual Arts, 3.5 hours for Music and 2.5 hours for Textiles and Design of QTC Registered PD (addressing 5.1.3, 5.3.3, 6.2.3, 6.3.3, 6.4.3 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Highly Accomplished Teacher Accreditation in NSW).

Textiles and Design – Friday 9 September
There are two sessions:

  • 1.00pm to 3.30pm
  • 5.00pm to 7.30pm.

Teachers can only attend one session.

VENUE: Sydney Showground, Homebush Bay.

Tickets will be available on Monday 8 August 2016.

Visual Arts – Saturday 8 October

  • 9.30am – 1.30pm

VENUE: Sydney Showground, Homebush Bay.

Tickets will be available from Eventbrite on Monday 5 September.

Drama Projects – Saturday 15 October

  • 9.00am – 1.00pm

VENUE: Sydney Showground, Homebush Bay.

Tickets will be available from Eventbrite on Monday 12 September.

Music Compositions – Saturday 5 November

  • 9.30am – 1.00pm

VENUE: Rosehill Racecourse.

Tickets will be available from Eventbrite on Monday 10 October.
