Consultation on draft syllabuses for Stage 6 English, Mathematics, Science and History is currently taking place.

Consultation opportunities include:

• face-to-face meetings from 4–6pm in regional and metropolitan locations

• an online survey

• written submissions.

The draft syllabuses, online surveys and a registration facility for consultation meetings are available on the BOSTES website.

Completing a draft syllabus consultation meeting will contribute to 2 hours of QTC Registered PD (addressing 6.2.2 and 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers) towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

The draft syllabuses for each course were developed, in accordance with the BOSTES Syllabus Development Process, following consultation on the Draft Writing Briefs in 2015, and on the Broad Directions in 2014.

Consultation ends on Wednesday 31 August. Feedback will be used to guide the development of the final syllabus documents.
