The 2013 trial of the RAP automatic subscription was well received by schools. As a result, automatic subscription will continue for the 2014 HSC and beyond.

Schools with HSC candidates will be automatically invoiced for RAP early in Term 4 each year. RAP will be available on the day of results release to those schools that have paid the invoice before the date.

Schools that do not want to receive RAP for 2014 can simply ignore the invoice or advise us by email at publications@bostes.nsw.edu.au.

RAP is an important analysis tool that enables principals, heads of departments and teachers to effectively analyse their results. A training program is available on Schools Online under the Memos and Documents tab. RAP features enable data analysis and extraction in an interactive platform. For example:

• the ability to group particular students to analyse their results
• the ability to view the frequency distribution of students’ results for individual items.
