Don't miss our HSC showcases

Exemplary works by 2013 HSC students will feature in performances and exhibitions to be held across NSW from Saturday, 1 February.

Don’t miss:

  • ARTEXPRESS opening at Hazelhurst Regional Art Gallery and Arts Centre on 1 February. This is the first of several exhibitions of work from 2013 scheduled for galleries across NSW throughout the year.
  • OnSTAGE at the Seymour Centre from 8 February, featuring drama performances and projects including costume and set design. Limited tickets are still available from the Seymour Centre Box Office.
  • Callback at the Seymour Centre on 13 and 14 February, featuring dance performances, compositions and workshops. Limited tickets are still available from the Seymour Centre Box Office.
  • DesignTECH at the Powerhouse Museum from 21 February, featuring major works by HSC Design and Technology students. DesignTECH will tour regional venues later in the year. Student seminars begin on 24 February and places are still available.
  • ENCORE at the Sydney Opera House on 24 March, featuring music performances and compositions. School booking forms are available for download.
  • InTech at Kinross Wolaroi School, Orange from 28 March, reappearing at the Sydney Timber and Working with Wood Show at The Sydney Showground, Homebush from 27 June. The exhibition covers all Industrial Technology focus areas – Timber Products and Furniture, Automotive, Electronics, Graphics, Metal and Engineering and Multimedia.

The showcases provide an invaluable opportunity for current students to see the standards to which they can aspire. As well, they enable the wider community to experience the diversity, creativity, professionalism and talent of some of the state’s highest achievers.
