Professional Learning Opportunities - HSC written examinations marking

BOSTES has a number of professional learning opportunities related to HSC marking including activities to support teachers in rural and remote settings.

Under the Rural and Remote Marker Program, limited places are available to teachers currently teaching Year 12 who wish to apply for HSC marking. Only those subjects marked externally onscreen are available. Further information is available from Markers Online or Schools Online.

For teachers who are unable to apply for HSC marking, BOSTES is running a series of HSC Marking Professional Learning workshops. The workshops will be offered in Sydney, Griffith, Dubbo, Ballina and Canberra on Saturdays in May, 2014, and provide an invaluable opportunity for secondary teachers to learn about, and engage with, HSC marking processes and the principles of standards-referenced assessment.

For further information, please go to the Professional Development page on the BOSTES website.
