Tickets to this year’s Visual Arts HSC Practical Marking Development day go on sale on Monday 25 August.

The event takes place on Saturday 4 October from 9.00am to 1.00pm at Sydney Showground, Homebush Bay.

Teachers will have an opportunity to view and discuss the benchmark Bodies of Work. With the current Supervisor of Marking and senior markers as their guides, teachers will be shown how the marking guidelines are consistently applied across a range of expressive forms and will learn skills to assist them in preparing their students for the practical component of the HSC examination.

The day is endorsed as providing four hours of registered professional development.
