Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strategy launch

The Australian Chief Scientist, Professor Ian Chubb, recently launched his directions paper Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics: Australia’s Future in which he outlines his vision for the development of an Australian STEM strategy. The launch was attended by the recently appointed BOSTES Science Inspector, Kerry Sheehan.

Prof. Chubb’s interesting ideas, along with submissions from other key groups and individuals, will provide guidance in the development of the senior secondary Science syllabuses incorporating the Australian Curriculum.

Submissions may be made until Sunday 21 September via the online survey or by sending them directly to the BOSTES Science Inspector.
