Latin Continuers HSC exam details for Wednesday 28 October 2009

Course: Latin Continuers
Date: Wednesday October 28, 2009, 1:55 PM - 5:00 PM
Candidature: 185 (as at 1 September 2009)
The paper consists of three sections.
Section I: Prescribed Text - Prose
In Section I there are three questions. In the first question, students translate two extracts into English. The second question is made up of ten multiple-choice questions on the grammatical features of another extract. In the third question, students answer short-answer and extended response questions based on two or three extracts from the prescribed lines.
Section II: Prescribed text - Verse
In Section II there are three questions. In the first question, students translate two extracts into English. The second question is made up of ten multiple-choice questions on the grammatical features of another extract. In the third question, students answer short-answer and extended response questions based on two or three extracts from the prescribed lines.
Section III: Unseen Texts
Students translate two passages, one verse and one prose, into English.
