Latin Extension HSC exam details for Wednesday 11 November 2009

The Board of Studies joins with the rest of the community in wishing all students the best for their exams. Course: Latin Extension Date: Wednesday November 11, 2009, 1:55 PM - 3:55 PM Candidature: 102 (as at 1 September 2009) This paper consists of two sections: Section I: Prescribed Text (35 marks). In Section I there are three questions. In Question 1, students translate two or three extracts into English. In Question 2, students answer short-response questions on extracts. In Question 3, students write an extended response on the literary features of the prescribed text. Section II: Non-prescribed Text. Students answer Question 4 or Question 5. In Question 4 students translate from Latin into English and answer questions on the content and literary features of the extract.
