Classical Greek Extension HSC exam details for Wednesday 4 November 2009

Course: Classical Greek Extension Date: Wednesday November 4, 2009, 9:25 AM - 11:25 AM Candidature: 8 (as at 1 September 2009) This paper consists of two sections: Section I: Prescribed Text (35 marks) In Section 1 there are two questions. In Question 1, students translate an extract into English and analyse language and/or contextual features. In Question 2, students write an extended response on the historical, social and/or literary context of the prescribed extract. Section II: Non-prescribed Text (15 marks) Students answer Question 3 or Question 4. In Question 3 students translate an extract of Homeric Greek text into English.
