NSW response to the Draft Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Geography K-12

The NSW response to the Draft Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Geography is now available

During term 3 the Board of Studies consulted with teachers and the public to coordinate feedback from NSW on the draft paper, released by ACARA on 21 June 2010.

The NSW consultation included an online survey, focus meetings in metropolitan and regional NSW with teachers representing all education sectors, and a geography reference group. Feedback from NSW’s consultation will contribute to the development of the final shape paper for geography.

President of the Board of Studies, Tom Alegounarias, thanked everyone who participated in the consultation for contributing to the development of a quality Australian Curriculum.
